The cover is supplied in 2m wide strips which attach to the steel arches using our unique STRIP-FIX® system (similar to how a caravan awning attaches to a caravan). This not only makes the cladding process quick and simple but also means that you have the added advantage of being able to replace individual cover strips rather than a whole cover should any future damage occur.
The S-Range framework is produced from 50mm or 60mm pre-galvanised steel tube (depending on width). All tubular steel components are ArmourGuard® treated, both inside and out. ArmourGuard® newly developed high-endurance galvanising treatment, giving extraordinary levels of corrosion resistance. ArmourGuard® offers up to 20 times the corrosion resistance of traditional zinc galvanising thanks to the revolutionary combination of zinc, aluminium and magnesium. ArmourGuard® is designed not just to survive in the most hostile environments but also to offer extreme longevity. In exhaustive tests carried out by Rotech Laboratories, one of the UK’s leading test houses, ArmourGuard® endured the equivalent of 100 years’ exposure to the harshest elements without undue deterioration.
All covers are made from heavy-duty, 610gsm, PVC-coated fabric and are available in a range of colours. White is often used where hygiene and cleanliness are important, with Admiral Grey and Olive Green being extremely popular in urban and rural locations respectively. Our covers are 100% waterproof, flame retardant, and have anti-UV properties to prevent premature degradation. All three colour options have a translucent version, this is especially useful where you wish to take full advantage of any natural daylight. Most clients prefer the gable ends to be a solid colour with the main cover strips in the translucent version of the same colour . For a modest surcharge we can also produce solid colour sides with a translucent skylight.
Adjustable bungees on the gable ends and a ratchet system along both sides ensures that even an inexperienced constructor can achieve a drum-skin tight finish to the cover.
The S-Range is available with or without gable end panels. If gable ends are required, these come with or without a roll-up door. Both types of gable ends have internal tubular steel supports and a base rail, ensuring they withstand the rigours of the British climate. The zipped doors feature a two-stage opening height, allowing quick access for low-level and high sided commercial vehicles.
Ideally, the S-Range should be bolted on to a suitable concrete base, although a series of individual concrete pad foundations could be created where no base exists. Bolting on to pre-cast concrete blocks could also offer a quick solution.
We offer the option of having your logo printed on to the cover of your S-Range shelter. This gives you the opportunity to build your brand and advertise your products on a large canvas.
