The Harlow Polytunnel

There have been few changes in the design of domestic polytunnels in the last twenty five years and most people would agree that they are not the most ornamental of garden structures.The Harlow Tunnel has been designed to provide a more aesthetically pleasing appearance whilst featuring many additional items usually found on commercial structures. The timber end frames have been replaced with aluminium for an extended life span and each gable hoop is manufactured from a unique aluminum double grip rail system 'Alitrap'. This enables the main body sheet to be fitted separately from the gable end sheets to eliminate wrinkles in the polythene and reduce algae build up. The main body cover, normally buried into the ground, is attached to the aluminium Alibox base rail. (seen below) Supplied with a single hinged door at each end. This structure requires the ground tubes to be concreted into the ground.
